Transformers 3 Darkside of the Moon, set to hit theaters July 1, 2011, is going to be an awe-inspiring follow up to the movie Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen.

Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen was just not nearly as good as it should have been.  But then isn’t that the way it always seems to go.  Very few sequels ever live up to what they should be.  It is like the movie people throw money at a sequel and rush them to the theater in order to capture the crowds’ money to simply leave us wanting a refund.  But Michael Bay has acknowledged that the new film would be “different” from Revenge of the Fallen.  Read on for more pics and the Transformers 3 Trailer.
